mox·ie /ˈmäksē/ noun 1.force of character, determination, or nerve
I know what it's like to be in your shoes. Taking that first step towards healing I was terrified yet excited and invigorated. I promise you, once you open the door to healing, you will not want to go back. The journey toward healing changed my life and I would love to walk with you on your journey. I studied for six years and graduated with a Master's degree in Social Work. I have been a therapist for around 20 years. I have been in private practice since 2007. My passion is working with you, helping you reach into the deepest parts of you, the parts you are afraid of, and watching you find the courage to heal those painful parts. I have learned how to build a support system in my life consisting of wonderful friends, how to have a healthy family and marriage, how to own a successful business, and how to use healthy coping skills. I can help you learn these things as well and the most important part is you will heal if you are willing to have moxie.
